Vard Aukra was established in Aukra, Norway, back in 1949. The yard is well-known for its deliveries of fishing vessels, ferries, chemical tankers, offshore vessels and other highly specialized vessels. Vard Aukra has developed a new portfolio ranging from service boats, barges and operation platforms to large fish feed carriers and live fish carriers for the aquaculture industry.
Vard Aqua (formerly Storvik Aqua) is a leading equipment supplier with more than 30 years experience within aquaculture. The company’s operations in Norway, Scotland and Chile, provide products and solutions within biomass control, feeding, oxygen as well as measurement and control of the cage environment.
Other specialized companies involved in the group’s aquaculture products and technology development is Vard Design, Vard Electro and ICD.
